A cityscape ornament showing the golden side of Ireland! Ireland, or the Emerald Isle, is known for its mild climate. Despite that, rainfall and continual cloud cover are abundant, hence the lush green landscape. Ireland is known also for its ancient Celtic culture, but it is divided politically. The North is part of the United Kingdom and has only about 1/6 of the population living there. The rest of Ireland has over 6 million people that live on Europe’s 3rd largest island with complete independence from the British government. This fabulous ornament shows a lot of the things people associate with Ireland, including leprechauns, a pot of gold, Irish pubs, a Celtic cross, the color green, the Irish flag and shamrocks!
