This might be as close as you will ever get to riding a giraffe! Wouldn’t it be fun to climb aboard this saddled giraffe and enjoy a fun carousel ride! Carousel rides at an amusement park, often called Merry-Go-Rounds, are one of the most popular rides, not only for their beauty and movement but because there are so many mounts to choose from! A carousel is a rotating circular platform populated with many ‘seats’ for the riders to sit upon while listening to the looped circus music. The seats are often horses of varying colors as well as mythical creatures or wild animals. The animal is on a post that goes up and down with the music, simulating the movement of the animals as if they are running or galloping! This is a terrific ornament for those that love carousels and wild animals!
